I usually buy a new ornament for my children's Christmas stockings each year. This year, I painted a bird ornament for each of them. I attempted to individualize the ornaments a bit (such as the female bird wearing a hat, in honor of my daughter who loves hats.) I painted the birds on wooden discs with acrylic paint, then added a hanger and ribbon to each.
